Farewell, Dr. Dwyer

Dr. Tom Dwyer, who retired from his general dentistry practice in the center of Newport Hills in late 2018, has  passed away at age 82. He maintained healthy smiles on the hill for more than 40 years, keeping his practice open until he was physically no longer able to work. He loved his patients!

Besides being a wonderful dentist, Dr. Tom was an anchor of our neighborhood and a faithful supporter of the Newport Hills Community Club. He will be missed!

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 12, at 10AM at St. Monica’s Catholic Church (4320 87th Ave. SE, on Mercer Island) and were well attended by several generations of Newport Hills families whose lives Dr. Tom touched as a friend, neighbor, and dentist.
