Our Neighborhood

We are looking for volunteers to record and neighbors willing to tell the story of Newport Hills as they know it.  There is over 60 years of history and we’d love to capture it in the Community Club blog. Contact webmaster@newporthillscommunityclub.org if you are interested.

A few years ago we had a phone directory for the Newport Hills merchants and sevices. I am still using it but it is quite outdated now. Could we post it on the website and /or print it and send it into the Newsletter like the last time. If so, please updtae the police phone number to get a general one working during weekdays and add the wild life service department 425.775.1311.

There is a Business Directory on the site…with a map. I need to get it updated, but most current businesses are listed. http://www.newporthillscommunityclub.org/blog/?page_id=82

Thanks for the good news about the new park – great. A couple of questions – what is going on at the Ringdall Jr High/Eastside Catholic school site? Any updates on the “greenbelt” behind the houses on 116th Ave SE – if only the City of Bellevue could buy those properties for a nature park what a great addition that would be.
