Santa Tour

Each year the Newport Hills Community Club sponsors a tour of our neighborhood by Santa Claus. Along the way Santa hands out candy canes and oranges to all the children who greet him when Santa comes by on his sleigh. Santa will also be accepting non perishable food for the local food bank at the NH Community Church.
We have received word that Santa is coming to Newport Hills on Saturday, December 15! Tour begins at 9:00AM and will end at the Newport Hills Shopping Center at 1:00PM. We will not be hosting our sit down session at Cornerstone this year. Santa will visit from 10-noon on Saturday November 17th at the Holiday Bazaar.
Holiday Bazaar – November 17, 2012
This event has been moved from December to November, to give folks plenty of time to shop and mail gifts. If you would like to set up shop as a vendor, spaces are available for only $10. Outlets/power are limited – please specify if you require power for your booth. Vendor set up will take place Friday evening on November 16 and Saturday morning before the Bazaar opens for business.
We are seeking volunteers to help with signage, flyer distribution and vendor solicitation, set-up and decorating, entertainment (music, etc.), day-of operations (vendor check-in, general assistance), clean up. This would be an easy and fun way for high school students to earn volunteer hours to satisfy graduation requirements.

Food Drive:
Santa will be accepting canned food donations on the route. All donations will be turned over to the Newport Hills Community Church and will help assist people in our community. Canned food donations will also be accepted during the Holiday Bazaar. If you would like more information or would like to volunteer to help with setup and other tasks, just send email to Santa at santa@newporthillscommunityclub.org

THANK YOU to whomever posted our event on Ruby Slipper and could you also please post our HOLIDAY BAZAAR for Saturday December 18th at the Newport Hills Shopping center. Santa will be visiting there as well for great photo ops while mom & dad do some last minute shopping and grab a bite to eat. Fun for the whole family!!
