Each year on the Saturday before Easter the Newport Hills Community Club sponsors the Spring Egg Hunt. The event is held at Newport Hills Elementary School on 119th Avenue SE.
There are actually several separate egg hunts based on the ages of the children. Children from ages 2 to 10 are invited to come to find chocolate eggs and other delights scattered about. The hunt begins with the youngest children at 9:00 AM sharp – followed by four age groups, so all children will have some fun. A real live Bunny (about the size of a person!) always shows up to make it special for children of all ages. Great time for family pictures.

The Newport Hills Spring Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 23rd which begins @ 9:00 am Sharp at the new Newport Heights Elementary School.
Thanks to our voluteers such as Cheryl and Shelly ‘Hippity Hoppity…’, we have tons of eggs for kiddos to find, lots of treats and prizes to follow… Hope you and your granddaughter can join in the festivities! Lisa

Great question,,, The Newport Hills Spring Egg Hunt is just around the corner.
It begins at 9:00 am Sharp.
At the new Newport Heights Elementary School.
We have tons of eggs for kids to find with lots of treats and prizes.
We have four age groups: 1-3, 4-6, 7-8 and 9-10 years of age.
We also will have face painting, and other fun activities.

A HUGE Thank you to Cheryl Nygaard and Shelly Zhou for organizing the 2011 Spring Egg Hunt. This annual and FUN community event will be enjoyed by many of our neighbors here in Newport Hills!!
